The birth of your child is a life changing moment. As a birth photographer, I want to capture the intense love that is present in the birth space. It is my hope to document the strength of the human body as it brings new life into the world. I want parents to see how they tenderly support one another and how they persist through joy and hardship. I believe birth photography is especially important for people who have experienced prior traumatic births, infertility, or loss, and that it can be powerful and healing. I want to show the power in birth, the resilience of birthing people, and the intensity of love at each birth. To me, birth photography is a form of love and a seeking of truth. It is a way to memorialize the love in those first moments of a family. I am also happy to capture maternity, newborn, and family moments.

How does it work?
Let's meet over zoom and talk! My main package includes both doula support and birth photos, but you can also opt for a photos-only package. If it seems like we are a good fit, I will send you a contract; a retainer fee of half the total amount is due at time of hire to reserve your due date on my calendar. The rest of the payment is due by 37 weeks. We will have at least one prenatal meeting to talk further about your hopes for your photos and logistics for the big day. I will be on call for you, starting two weeks before your due date until the birth of your baby. I will join you in active labor, at home, birth center, or hospital. I will stay for one to two hours after the birth of your baby to capture those special first moments. A digital gallery will be delivered within six weeks with hand-edited images celebrating your baby's birth.
I am also a lifestyle photographer available for maternity, newborn, and family photo sessions. These sessions last 60-90 minutes at a location of your choosing. I am available for location and styling suggestions. I love connecting with people during sessions and taking natural, gently posed (or unposed) photos. A hand-edited digital gallery will be provided within a few weeks with approximately 25-40 color and black & white images.
